The goal of the Nutrition Services Department at Burton School District is to serve attractive, nutritious meals, prepared under sanitary conditions, to the greates number of students.

Meals at Burton

During lunch, students are served:

  • an entrée of lean meats and whole grains
  • a fruit or a vegetable
  • a visit to our salad bar to choose from a variety 
    of fresh produce.
  • a choice of milk

Applications for Free/Reduced Meals
Applications are available on our website or in school site offices.  Please note that a new application must be filled out each school year.

Meal Payments
Prepayments for school meals can be made at the school site or online at our website.  Weekly reminders of low balances are mailed home.  It is your responsibility to keep accounts current.  Reminders of low balances are also available on the district app that can be downloaded from the app store.  Refer to our Unpaid Meal Procedure for more information.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:
